Formed in 1946 after informal beginnings before World War II, Myponga-Sellicks Football Club has a proud history rooted in community effort and country football tradition. Originally known as Myponga Football Club, the team joined the Southern Football League and played on a basic paddock ground with jute bag dressing rooms. In 2003, the club officially became Myponga-Sellicks to reflect the growing Sellicks Beach community. Now competing in the Great Southern Football League, the club continues to thrive with strong support, dedicated players, and a lasting commitment to the game.
